a busy week in the US courts for techSeems to be a busy week for US court-announcements. First, two claims denied in Sun v MS: coverage from the NYTimes. Also, the trial of Be and Burst.com against Microsoft still going forward, a resolution of a class-action lawsuit by Microsoft (paying up one billion dollars as if it was small change), and the announcement that Kazaa can be tried in the US, which probably means it will be closed down soon, given the previous success of the RIAA in litigating Napster, et.al. into extinction.
