announcing: clevercactus share

A few minutes past midnight we took the wraps off clevercactus share.

There are million things I want to talk about, and I'm sure there will be many questions. But that will have to wait for a little bit (just a little bit) of sleep and rest. More tomorrow!

"So why not try clevercactus share today?"

Because there aren't any screenshots.

In fact, there's not much information on that page. Is it a web app? A Windows app? An OS X app? How is it different from Kazaa, .Mac, or (gah) XDrive/iDrive/other defunct company?

People like to know these sort of things before registering for an account.

No screenshots and I don't even see a place to register or download a prog. Then again, maybe I'm too tired.
There's a screen shot over at Erik's weblog http://www.thauvin.net/blog/ so I guess Eric rates ;)
It looks like it's a JXTA app...so it's pretty much pure P2P.
Now we know why there hasn't been a new CC beta in so long.
