java for wirelessFinally a standard (more or less) for cellphones: Sun Microsystems released its first-ever guidelines for the use of Java in cell phones, an effort to shape up the chaotic way in which the programming language has been developed thus far for application in the world of wireless.Truly, looking at Java devkits for cellphones is not a good experience; each maker has its own kit, and sometimes they have different kits for different phones. Hopefully this new standard will pull them all together, at least on the basics. weblogs, development, and feedbackNews.com has an interesting article on how weblogs help developers create better products.
